Minister of Defence Jyri Häkämies to visit Istanbul
Minister of Defence Jyri Häkämies is to participate in the Meeting of NATO Defence Ministers with Non-NATO ISAF Contributing Nations. The meeting takes place on the 5th of February 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The ministers are to discuss the security situation in Afghanistan, stabilisation and reconstruction as well as support for the local authorities. Also to be discussed is the capability of the Afghan administration to assume responsibility over the country?s security situation.
