Defence Minister Haglund met President Hamid Karzai

Minister Carl Haglund is currently on a visit to Afghanistan where he has met President Hamid Karzai. They have discussed Finland’s presence in the country after 2014.

During his visit to Afghanistan Defence Minister Haglund has met Finnish crisis-management troops in Mazar-e-Sharif and Kabul.

Minister Haglund also met Defence Minister Bismullah Khan Mohammadi and the Special Representative of the United Nations Ján Kubiš.
