Minister of Defence visits the Nyland Brigade

Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö will visit the Nyland Brigade in Dragsvik on 6 June 2016. Minister Niinistö will get familiar with the activities at the Nyland Brigade and be updated about topical matters. After that the Minister will move to Syndalen, where he will be familiarised with the BALTOPS 2016 exercise.

The day will be hosted by Commander of the Finnish Navy, Rear Admiral Veijo Taipalus. The visit to the Nyland Brigade will be hosted by Commander of the Brigade, Captain Kjell Törner. The Minister will also meet Vice Admiral James G. Foggo III, leader of the BALTOPS 2016 exercise.
