Finland to acquire more Jurmo-class landing craft

Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen has authorised the Defence Forces to order 17 Finnish Jurmo-class landing craft with spare parts. The mobility of coastal troops will be maintained and developed until the end of the 2030s by the new Jurmos. 

The landing craft will be delivered by Marine AluTech Oy AB. The overall value of the procurement, without value added tax, is EUR 25.5 million, and the domestic employment effect will be about 110 person-years.
