Minister of Defence Häkkänen to sign Defence Cooperation Agreement in United States
Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen will make a working visit to the United States on 17-20 December 2023. General Timo Kivinen, Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, will attend some of the programme events.
Minister of Defence Häkkänen and United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken will sign a bilateral Defence Cooperation Agreement (DCA) in Washington DC on Monday 18 December.
On Tuesday 19 December, Minister Häkkänen will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
