Finnish Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö to visit Australia
The Minister of Defence of Finland Jussi Niinistö makes a working visit to Australia on 20-24 March 2016. During the visit Minister Niinistö meets the Australian Minister for Defence Materiel Dan Tehan and representatives of the States of Victoria and South Australia.
The topics on the agenda include the general security situation, defence materiel cooperation and other current matters relating to defence administration.
The visit has been organised in collaboration with the Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries AFDA and the defence and security sector companies it represents. Permanent Secretary Jukka Juusti from the Ministry of Defence is also present in the minister's delegation.
On the agenda there is also a Finnish-Australian seminar on defence and security industry.
