Flight safety in the Baltic Sea region is a key issue
The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation has announced that it will invite representatives of Nato countries and Finland and Sweden to talks in Moscow in September.
According to information published by Russia, the agenda would include issues relating to safety in the Baltic Sea region such as flight safety, the safety of naval operations and monitoring of military exercises.
The initiative is interesting. Without more information about Russia's plans to invite countries to talks, it is impossible to comment the issue more closely. On a general level, it can be concluded that the issue of flight safety in the Baltic Sea region is both topical and important.
