Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö met representatives of Estonia?s National Defence Committee

Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö met on 7.10.2016 representatives of the National Defence Committee from Estonia?s parliament (Riigikogu). Invited by Finland?s Parliament, the Committee has been visiting Finland on 6 to 7.10.2016. Estonia?a parliamentary National Defence Committee is led by Marko Mihkelson.

Minister Niinistö and the members of Estonia?a National Defence Committee discussed bilateral relations of the two countries, the security situation in the neighbouring regions, key issues related to the EU?s Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) and cooperation carried out within the framework of Nato.
