Permanent Secretary Jukka Juusti paid a visit to Moscow
Permanent Secretary Jukka Juusti from the Ministry of Defence made a working visit to the Russian Ministry of Defence, Moscow, on 11 to 12 May 2017.
The visit was hosted by Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Alexander Fomin, appointed early in 2017. The programme of the visit included a discussion about current security policy issues such as the main points in Finland?s Defence Policy Report, priorities in Russia?s military policy and the security situation in Northern Europe.
Permanent Secretary Juusti is not available during the visit and he is due to return to Finland late in the evening on Friday 12.5.2017.
