Minister of Defence Niinistö to visit Sweden

Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö will visit Sweden from 19 to 20 March 2018. During the visit, Minister Niinistö will hold bilateral discussions with Sweden's Minister for Defence Peter Hultqvist and attend Exercise Vintersol 2018 of the Swedish Armed Forces.

The Ministers will discuss developments in the security situation of the Baltic region, the bilateral defence cooperation between Finland and Sweden and current NORDEFCO related issues.

In addition, Minister Niinistö will attend Exercise Vintersol, organised in the Kiirunatunturi and Boden area, and meet personnel there.
