The Defence Forces to order life-cycle services for systems within partnership agreements from Insta Group Oy and Patria Aviation Oy
The Defence Forces received a mandate from Defence Minister Jussi Niinistö to procure partnership services for 2018 from Insta Group Oy for the maximum value of EUR 23 million and from Patria Aviation Oy for the maximum value of EUR 53.9 million. Both of the Finnish companies are strategic partners of the Defence Forces. The effect of the agreement on employment will be 450 person-years.
The services to be procured ? life-cycle services for military aviation, naval defence, and intelligence, surveillance and command and control systems ? are included in the partnership agreement between the Defence Forces and its strategic partners.
As a contractual relationship that requires strong and long-term commitment from the contracting company to support the Defence Forces, strategic partnership sets requirements and conditions for the operation and personnel of the company.
