Defence Policy Report to Government plenary session on 9 September 2021

The Government Defence Report will be discussed at the Government plenary session on Thursday 9 September 2021 and it will be submitted to Parliament.

The Defence Policy Report and its implementation aim to ensure that Finland's defence capability meets the requirements of a changing operating environment. The outlines of the new defence policy and their implementation will extend until the end of this decade.

The previous Report was published in spring 2017.
