Minister of Defence Häkkänen to visit Sweden and Estonia
Minister Antti Häkkänen will make his first official visits to Sweden and Estonia on 6 July 2023.
He will conduct bilateral discussions with the defence ministers of the two countries.
In the morning of 6 July, Minister Häkkänen will meet Sweden’s Minister of Defence Pål Jonson in Stockholm. The defence ministers will discuss defence cooperation between Finland and Sweden, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, Nordic defence cooperation and Sweden’s NATO membership process.
From Stockholm, Minister Häkkänen will continue to Tallinn, where he will have a meeting with Estonia’s Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur. The two ministers will discuss bilateral defence cooperation and security situation in the neighbouring areas.
