NORDEFCO ministerial meeting in Stockholm
Director General, MoD, Janne Kuusela is representing the Defence Minister at a ministerial meeting on Nordic Defence Cooperation (NORDEFCO) in Stockholm on 22-23 November 2023. A meeting of Nordic and Baltic defence ministers (NB8) will also be held in connection with the NORDEFCO meeting.
Topics on the agenda for the NORDEFCO ministerial meeting include the development of Nordic defence cooperation in the long term. The ministers will also discuss topical defence policy issues in the Nordic countries, and Denmark as the upcoming chair of NORDEFCO will present its objectives for the next year.
The meeting of Nordic and Baltic defence ministers will address issues such as the regional security situation and topical issues currently on NATO’s agenda.
